Vet chroma™ SDMA is a fluorescence immunoassay (FIA) for the quantitative determination of SDMA (symmetric dimethyl arginine) in canine or feline serum and plasma. SDMA (Symmetric dimethyl arginine) is a biomarker specifically related to kidney function. It reacts more sensitively to functional changes in the kidney than creatinine, broadly used as biomarker of kidney function. And it is very efficient to prevent acute kidney injury (AKI) and chronic kidney disease (CKD).
