Vet chroma™ T4 is a Fluorescence Immunoassay (FIA) for
the quantitative determination of total thyroxine(T4) in canine, feline serum/plasma.
It is useful as an aid in management and monitoring of thyroid disorder. Thyroxine(T4)
is one of two major hormones produced by the thyroid gland(the other is called triiodothyronine,
or T3). T4 is a useful marker for the diagnosis of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism
in dog and cat.
